The Altair Inspire trial version is completely free. Simply fill in the form with your details to request an Inspire evaluation license.
The Altair Inspire trial is valid for 30 days from activation. During this period you can use the software without restrictions.
The trial version includes an allocation of Altair Units that enables Altair Inspire with the features you need for Industrial Design, Mechanical Simulation, and Process Simulation.
There are no functional limitations regarding model size or number of saves. You can use Altair Inspire with the included example files or directly with your own project geometry. You are free to explore all CAE modeling and simulation functions available in Altair Inspire.

Annual Subscription
Altair Inspire can be purchased through an annual subscription using Altair Units. This licensing model offers maximum flexibility, allowing you to activate Inspire only when required — and release the license when it is no longer needed.
With Altair Units you receive a commercial subscription license that enables Altair Inspire with Industrial Design, Mechanical Simulation, and Process Simulation capabilities. Altair Units also allow you to access other Altair solvers and tools such as HyperMesh, OptiStruct, and Radioss, maximizing the return on your investment.
First, you will be contacted by one of our sales representatives, who will prepare a tailored quotation based on: number of users, license type, modules, optional services (e.g., training), and payment terms. Once the proposal is accepted, you will receive installation and activation instructions for Altair Inspire within a few days.
With the annual subscription you can activate the Inspire configuration that best suits your needs. Through Altair Units, you can enable all the simulation technologies required for your workflows.
Subscription plans are valid for one year (Annual Subscription) and are invoiced at the beginning of the subscription period.
Yes. Customers with an active annual subscription can transfer the license to a different machine upon formal request to Altair.
Altair Units licenses are available in two configurations: Floating On-Prem and Hosted. With Floating On-Prem, the license is managed by a local server and Altair Inspire can be used by any user connected to the company network. With Hosted licensing, the license is assigned to a named user and managed on a cloud server maintained by Altair, offering greater flexibility for distributed teams.
The subscription may be cancelled at any time; however, the software will remain active until the contract end date. The unused portion of the subscription period is non-refundable and billing cannot be suspended.
